Don't know. He went and laid down & that was that.
He was a dog that followed my brother home from work, day after day, then ventured off on his own way. Finally one day, he followed him home and stayed...that was in 2004. Yesterday, he went to work with my brother, then ventured to a back room & passed. He was seemingly fine. We really don't know at this point.
But we do know that he was 'Romeo' because he knew no strangers & he loved everyone.

Aww..It's really sad when these little buddies leave us,I can understand the pain.I'm sure Romeo and his memories will always be cherished.He must have been special.

OH!!!! I am so sad.....I LOVE animals so! I'm so sorry Sweets...he is in doggie heaven...and he'll be waiting for you with all that LOVE....What a HANDSOME ROMEO he was!
