Happy Valentine's

When I was in elementary school, a boy that I was actually fought all the time with me sent me a note.
He asked if I liked him & had the little boxes to check yes or no. I didn't like him at al
l... I, in fact, despised him.
Against all ration & intuition, I checked YES...just to see his reaction.
He responded in writing... 'I thought so... but I still hate you.'
LOL.
For the first time, I think he warranted some actual respect from me. I loved his honesty.

Happy Valentine's!

I had that happen. I was a little too honest and the girl who had been picking on me all year punched me in the face when I said I didn't like her.

Go figure

I'm 31 and I tease girls I like to. Sometimes I hit them (gently). At work, I stole this woman's briefcase. She knows I like her. I am expert in avoiding sexual harassment termination.

Uh, oh! He gotya. Whatever happened to him? Did you ever find out? Did he turn out to be a decent guy or is he some kind of malcreant.

Valentine is over, but...I hope you like it that I link you up in my post.

Your post about this honest friend is too interesting not to share with the whole world. Don't you think?

Have a great weekend!

I once opened up the seam of a small rubber ball and put my ring in it and passed it to this girl I was smitten with. I put in a note that said something like, "I know it and you know it, so, let's just know it together."

She kept it for a while and wrapped the ring with light blue angora yarn to make it fit her finger. She wore my ring and we went "steady". I was in 6th grade. I kissed her two years later and we broke up before we started high school.

I guess we knew that too. Good memories here, yours and mine. Thanks.
