For the first time, I was tagged. I wasn't running or hiding or yelling out the names to TV shows and I got tagged! Anne tagged me... with an assignment.

The assignment, as I understood it, was to create something graphical, post a picture of it, then tag two more people.

Here's my creation...it's old, so I apologize.
My creativity is stunted, numbed & hard to conjure up right now.

It is my profile pic ... a peace sign made from grape vines pulled out of the side yard. Random peices of vine were painted with metallic acryllic paints & then this little peace sign was weaved. I have had this for about 17 years & it hangs in my bathroom. It is about 20" tall, 12" wide and 3" deep. I love it & remember the day that it was made like it was yesterday. LOL, although I did make this, my sister Singleton is more of the artist than me!

OK, Now I must TAG two people to create some graphic art to post... I tag Vicci (Moon, Stars & Paper) and Doug (The Book of Doug)

.....post something big or small, old or new
doesn't really matter, as long as it is created by you!

Yo grrl,
I was passing by, read this post, and thought I'd share a little art I just made. I'm still not 100% on the color scheme for it, but it works for now. It'd make a pretty good shirt, don't ya think? Hope you enjoy!

I think it is awesome - you can never go wrong with a peace sign.

My sister - and this sounds awful - but when we were in high school we ate some "magic mushrooms" once. We both made some "high" quality art with water colors - that was over 20 yrs ago - she still has them framed and hanging on a wall in her house. It cracks me up everytime I see it - and reminds us of them carefree days.

(((Allen S))) I am so glad you found me in this virtual world! I love your puppy dog, but then again I love all that you do & see the art in all of it!

Baron ~ LOL, I should have posted the peace sign painting that came before this weaving. It was created with about 10 barefoot people in a similar condition about the same time as you & your sister, one posterboard & several small tubes of acryllic paint.

Awww, Skinny. I tagged you because i thought you'd enjoy it, I didn't want to stress you. It doesn't have to be elaborate. I didn't tag Singleton because she's too much of an artist, i thought it would be nice to see the work of people who are obviously creative but their work doesn't get seen much. According to Eccentric Recluse, you can tag as many or as few people as you like.

LOL @ Baron Ectar's message. I'm not naming names, but somebody very close to me once wrote a spectacular science report about drugs... while stoned. It was so good it even got extra credit. Hahaha! Good times. :)

I think it’s a fitting tribute to the spirit of the tag. Even more so since it has such a long and illustrious history behind it. Considering the conditions in which it was created, I’m sure it has plenty of mojo too.

Very cool! Please don't tag me though...I don't have a digital camera. I guess I could post a picture of one of my girls.

Skinny, that's really cool!!

Man, grapes give me the runs ... just like those tree-hugging, peace-loving liberals.

Skinny, if you need ANYTHING, just ask. I offer this because I know you would do the same.

I'm working on the assignment. Give me a little time and I should have something respectable.

I posted for Peace! as well. As you, I did it with my own touch instead of using a standard graphic. I like your display.
