Butter Butt the Hellhound

His bark rolls like thunder and if you stand close enough, it rattles the core of your bones like a coal-loaded train out your back door. He's a Mastiff.... a 'devil-dawg'... a 'hell-hound'
And he's full of terrified love...
Because of his size and his apparent ferociousness, people fear him. It's their instinct.
He senses their fear...
and questions what they have done, what they may do...
Agnostic towards the human race, perhaps...
but, if so, I think his doubts in us come from our doubts in him...
Really, behind the cover of a beast bigger than me, pants a little love soldier,
marching, plowing, thundering through the days for the moments of company who judge him not by his cover...

35 lbs at 10 weeks and 125 at 10 months...
