Small Pond and Little Lake

I used to have a big ole fish pond and about 30 little fish.
Then there was a little incident that caused a big ole mess.
And all my little fish were floating.
Now I have a little lake.
The wild flowers grow in the rocks around it.
Song birds drink from the small water fall.
And the only thing floating there anymore ... is me!

Wow... nice pond/lake! I can't wait, we plan to build a little pond, too, but, last time he had one, the herons ate all his fish :(

At least you still had the pond!!!! There's always a silver lining...

Oh geeze BOY do we have a pond.

But this too, shall pass....and I'll be happily heading towards water instead of barely treading it.

Poor fishies...

Can't be that small if you can float in it . . . no matter how skinny you might be . . .

Sounds like a sweet little grotto in which to kick back and relax . . .

Singleton...I would be happy to be a bump on a toads ass, as long as I make it to the beach to see you and Kimbies. ILYSVM.

Shimmerings...The circle of Mother Nature. On your next pond dig out a narrow area for your fish to hide in. You can bridge wide stepping stones across it, so that they will be completely safe from the herons.

CEO...Lol, yes and when the fish all went a floatin' the pond became my 'little lake.'

Mel...radioman says Mother Nature should be easing up on you guys. I am so glad you survived this ok. You remember those fishies as babies too, don't you?

Deeis4Dana...Nope, won't do that! And if....IF I do, I will chalk that up to 'meant-to-be' and it must mean a new swimsuit for skinny this year ;) But, I think I'd rather spend money on food & drink ;)

Oceans...It's the Momma-Bear for me...Just Right! Lol, despite living in the ghetto & having it in my front yard, it's encircled by shrubs, bushes & various plants such that I can float out there and no-one even knows it. The floating hammock, the little lake and myself make one. ;)My personal oasis...

Peace, Love & Lawdy, Lawdy I can't wait to get away!

So we sold the house.
