Happy Independence Day & To All A Good Night
Time brings change...we all know that. As I sat on the shores of the Atlantic, Mother Nature displayed this beautifully for me, as evidenced by pics below...
Peace & Love People...Capture Each Moment For Whatever It May Be Worth

our goal in life is happiness which is to live in agreement with nature! It is so beautiful, little windows of peace, love, and complete comfort. hold these moments close and dont let go.
Kimbies!?!?!
Funny thing about those bottom pics is that the bird seen there literally 'came to see me'. I was squatted on the shore and in he came, walking towards me, cocking his head & looking at me. I laughed and asked my sister if perhaps he had seen my legs & thought that maybe I was his mother. It was as if he was posing for me. I told him to stand in front of the rising sun, lol, and he did.
BTW...I bet there was no more than 60 seconds lapsed in between the time these 2 pics were taken. Amazing the changes in color, isn't it. Gawd Bless Mother Nature & Mother Nature Blesses Us.
beautiful...those birds are really neat.
Ahhhhh, happy Independence Day, Sweetie. Two fingers to the sky, let's fly! Muah!
Love the pics. :) And each moment is priceless, I've found. Happy 4th!!
*chuckling*
Why do I now look at the photos and hear "are you my mother?"!
Oh, but what a magnificent colours for a magnificent bird.
(both of youse...LOL)
*huge hugs*
And I hope you enjoyed your holiday day as well.
-gorgeous!-
and happy, happy 4th to all of you!

kiss nature and she'll kiss you write back
freedom, peace, all good things in abundance wished for you! ~s.
Gotta love a kickass sunrise . . . and a cooperative bird . . .
I had a similar experience with a snapping turtle recently . . . not relative to pictures and a sunrise . . . but the comaraderie was similar . . . I posted about it . . . some good turtle medicine, there to teach me something . . . perhaps the same is true relative to you and this bird . . .
Hope all is well, though I can't imagine the Atlanta suburbs match the serenity of Florida's Atlantic beach . . .
Perhaps that's the change a comin' . . . a little geographic shift for the soul . . .
skinny...Pssssst!
dee...I'm not sure exactly what type of birds they are, but they are beautiful... with bright yellow beaks and legs, knees that bend backwards and soft white plumage that they can make stand straight up on the back of their head.
Sing...know you had a good time, as I know the company you were keeping. Good Times, Good Folks!
Karma...Hope you had a good one! Yes, it seems that just one moment can bring on a world of change.
Mel...Lol, you always make me smile, smirk and giggle! Silly birds! May you take flight soon and migrate to the serenity of the waters as well! P&L!!!
She...I'll have to go check your friends post out & thank you...I hope your fourth was exceptional! May peace be the circle of love that draws us all in. xoxox.
Oceans...Lol, I actually have several stories of the companionship of birds & such. It's weird, magical and perplexing? The Atlanta suburbs are actually quite serene. I have a river, a couple large creeks and a lake rather close to me which actually offer a great diversity of things to do. For the 4th, a girlfriend and I bobbed in our floating hammocks down a secluded section & enjoyed our moments of peace & freedom. But again...'changes in latitude, changes in attitude...'
sounds like you're tuning into the power of Mother Earth right where you're at . . . my mind thinks "Atlanta- hot, muggy, overdeveloped, and inland" . . . but Mother Earth's just as present there as she is anywhere else . . . good for you, finding peace, balance, and serenity right where you're at . . .
Amazing photography Skinny,
of amazing God art.
Good for you finding the peace places,,,,right there where you are!
I love, love, love that 2nd pic (naked lady, draped underneath the sea)... that looks like a heron... and an egret... or... a great white heron (egrets are herons?) ... nice realization... nice communication... don't you just love it when we can synchronize with nature... or her, with us? ... if only we would be alert and listen... yet, we are so tuned out, and pre-occupied, that we often miss it all...
Peace & Love...
Oceans...Lol, yeah, you described Atlanta pretty well. I live far enough north to be considered 'the boonies' & close to clean waters. It makes a world of difference.
WilsonsArt...Yep, The Good Lord & Mother Nature worked with me for those pics.
Shimmerings...lol, running late to work I had to google! It's a great white heron, I do believe. :) Thanks. Tuned out & pre-occupied... slipping back into the hustle & bustle of work, traffic etc. I'm wondering if it doesn't become a time thing. ie., we're so busy thinking, planning premeditating what we gotta do next that we don't see what is right before us?
Pleased, and satisfied, I am, in the realization that the changes in You, Dear One, are as the changes in a maturing wine. You become richer and fuller in your gifts to those who partake of You. How consummately enjoyable!
Admiringly ...
Beautiful pictures. And the thoughts, amen.
