Walking, Wading and Resting...In Peace

I'm dirty.

Dirt, dust, clay, mud, soot, scum, sweat, debris, paint chips, smoke, splinters and surely some poisonous stuff and maybe some itsy-bitsy, tiny spiders too.

Covered.

And as soon as the last load of wash finishes, I'll hop into this old house's clawfoot for a cool, refreshing shower....
throw on some old soft cotton threads, kill all the lights and melt into the hammock out back...

simply enjoy knowing that sometimes walking through peace means running, lifting, heaving, chopping, scraping, climbing, squatting, mixing, digging, scraping and yes, eventually resting...if even just for a moment

everything comes full circle...
may evening peace becomes morning peace.

That was such a soothing post; I know exactly this feeling and philosophy. Glad to share this peaceful logic with you :)

*sigh*

Everything becomes peace....

Mine's the chair swing--that space transforms the 'big' stuff to right size every time.
Dunno how that works...I just know it does....

*huge hugs*
Blessings to you and yours.
What's the countdown til beachtime? :-)

Yes, it was a soothing post. Aaahhhhh... :)

It's strange how sometimes I feel lazy and don't want to do a thing, but once I get moving I enjoy that more than I expected.

Orhan...lol, it was such a soothing thought and a philosophy is all it really is. I got the shower, but never got a chance to chill out back :( Instead went back to working, which we did until the wee hours....

Mel...but even the working through to the wee and waking up early to do it some more was peaceful. It's stuff that has to be done in a timely manner & seeing it done does bring peace. John passed two weeks ago. Cathy and I have been busy, busy taking care of that and most recently cleaning out the house, shed & yard...estate sale this week-end. I am taking the hammock with me... eighteen more days to go...

Anne...I couldn't agree with you more. It doesn't matter how tired I am, I always feel better doing something. In fact, outside of 'vacation time' I usually get kinda down if not kept busy.

Oh dearheart.....I'm so sad for you and for Cathy. I'm sorry for the loss the both of you must be feeling. But busy is good..and moving from one moment, one day, into the next does bring peace. Bitty steps into whatever's in front of the both of you today. I'll hold you both in prayer.

*HUGE hugs to you both*
