Tan Lines and Peace Signs

I fell asleep.
Toes in the water and hands plopped up across the oar I had laid across my lap
I woke up when I bounced into a fallen tree.
The next morning after showering, I noticed I had a tan line...
an inverted tattoo.
Circular and cocked sideways.
The tan may fade and the lines may blur together again on the canvas of my skin, as I soon will be heading to the beach.
But hopefully the peace will continue to soak right into the fiber of my being...

Now there is a very cool thought.

*happy sigh*

Drifting and napping on the waters.......and peace...
(not necessarily in that order, mindyou....)

There is absolutely no doubt that peace will carry on with your heart and spirit. No doubt.

All I'm thinking about is a snake could have dropped in that boat while you were asleep.

Mel...that order sounds wonderful, any order sounds good. Gotta soak up those moments when we have them...they are very rare, and if they leave their mark upon us for just one more moment, then we are blessed indeed. Sweet peace.

Orhan...lol, you have seen me through a lot and i know you know that sometimes my peace comes with spit and fire...but in the end, peace wins. ;)

Wreggie...hahaha, yeah, that would have woken me up and rocked my peace. I must be really tired lately, as I normally wouldn't fall asleep on the river and last week I fell asleep on the hammock only to awake close to 2 in the morning with the buzzing of a bug in my ear. A possum could have fallen on me...hahaha, seriously. Have seen more than one up in those trees out back.

Sisterlove!
About 7 days from here and now I'll be packing my car with bongos, bandannas, bikinis and beer coozies, hammocks and hand-me-downs and new found secret treasures that never really were a secret at all...
we will be barefoot and free,
kissing the salty air and dancing in the dewy grass, hearing the oceans percussion of eternal peace and singing songs that can only be heard by those who want to believe ...

I believe...

and I know you could hear me singing sweet sister love and I could hear you...like the sounds of the wind lifting the sands married to the sounds of the eternal waves laying those grains back down...harmonizing in peace...

Hahaha, actually hairy bastard didn't get me, but a small tribe of spiders did! All good though, just a dozen little spider bites on the thigh and a lesson learned :)
