Humming...Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head...

Sleeping, I distinctly heard the sound of a dog tinkling.
What on earth?
I popped up, 'Smokie!'
Nestled on his bed, next to mine, he looked up at me...somewhat startled.
I flipped in my bed and that's when it hit me.... hit me right on my feet, immediately giving all my toes a waterfall bath.

This morning, with flashlight and stew pot in hand, I walked the balance beam of rafters looking for the tiny leak that's caused big damages.

Not everything in life can be patched up.
If only it had just been Smokie...

And as much as I would like to just walk away, right back to the seafoam I just left, I know the time is not right.

RAWR!!

Ah well--you know me and my thinking. Things happen as they happen with reason. And there's always more than one way to look at things.

Running away is darn tempting at times--THAT much I can relate to.
Dripping roofs.....k....I can relate to that as well. (darn squirrels!)

Hahaha, anon...it could be worse.

Dee...yep!

Mel...Hahaha...birds and squirrels! I grew up with pots and pans scattered about the house, so this isn't that foreign of a feeling. And although I had thought in the tail of last winter that I would be relocating by years end, the universe has shown me through fallen trees, leaky roofs, shaky economy and the keeping of wayward souls, that I am meant to stay right here... for now ;)
