Sea Shells & Spray Paint

See what happens when a Skinny Little Blonde pulls out the bucket of seashells & spray paint when she's suffering from insomnia & temporary insanity?

If you want to do some graffiti in a small beach community, it is best to buy the paint before you go...
'Excuse me, where is your spray paint?'
'Uh, Ma'am, we don't sell that kinda stuff here.'

Ahhh....just drop me in the water!

Happy Independence Day Folks!
I'll have to flip & finish this canoe
today...
July 5~
Bottom two pictures were taken today.Who knows, she might get sealed tomorrow...although there is still some space left, plus I need to give her a name
... Any Ideas?

I love it! I think its so funny that people automatically think you are going to start tagging when you ask for spray paint.

Love the colors...

Nothing like peace, love, and some paddles on the river.

Hope your insomnia has help and some friends to keep it company. Of course you have the sister team. That's a good thing.

Not one person can mistake that for their canoe now!
GOOD JOB!!!

Yep..it's definitely YOU, SLB.
:-)

Flip it, spray it and getcherself to the water....woooohoooo!

paddle away, skinny.

That should give the fishes something interesting to look at. I suspect they get a little bored looking at the same old grey boat bottoms all day long.

I think that looks wonderful!

Singleton~ I have the stash! ;)

BardD~ Lol, Singleton is right. We were gonna go tag & we will again...maybe you can join us at the seawall!

she~ Hahaha...thank you. I finished her up yesterday...complete with lyrics to some old Led Zeppelin & Bob Segar....I wanna get lost in your rock -n- roll and drift away... Happy Independence Day to you too!

eric313- Thank you! Yes, my sister & I are intuitively connected...calling on each other in the wee hrs of the night and I have all of you. BTW, following Singleton's lead I printed your poem 'Whispers in her hair' and have been reading it to anyone who will hear me...Simply Beautiful.

Mel~ Lol, you have the right idea! Must get sealant today either before or after work, so I can get this babe in the water. I need some paddles!

Slag~ Lol, with some of the squiggly lines on the bottom, I'll bet this canoe will be great for fishing...they'll probably be nibbling on it, trying to scour some color.

Orhan~ Thanks...lol, she looks different now though & looking at the pic, I cannot say for the better... but as long as she floats!

That is bad ass! I would so love to use that when we go camping in a couple weeks! It would draw all the cool chicks my way! Could you mail it!

skinnylittleblonde said...

Slick ~ Lol, if you only knew...this is my safe place.

justrun~ I'm gonna bet fishing would be good, but even better is that I now where a desrted island is in the middle of a lake not so far away...

Spongy~ So sorry...cannot mail it, my tongue couldn't handle all those stamps! Looks like you should come down here to go camping!

That is the most flattering thing I have ever heard! period. You and Singleton can print anything you want and read it to anyone you two feel would eith love or do well to hear it.

The good vibes alone will boost me up; I'll take advantage of it like a hawk wheeling on the wind, higher and higher until it knows that it owns everything, sice that is what it sees.

Thank you so much.

and of course I read all your responses, too.

skinnylittleblonde said...

Eric ~ thank you! I'm glad you consent, because, well ... it is what it is! ;) You write wonderfully & are not limited by any means. It's an open gift, or so I tell myself, as I typically only write creatively when my sanity depends upon it!

Well all the great had similar problems you are in line with the greats: to only mention one Jackson Pollack (I hope my spelling is correct) So there you are. You're a darling Skiny. Great work really. I wish I had been there to help you out.
Sincerely Y;-) Paddy

Of course, SLB, and there is only one name I can think of that sums it up in one million, zillion ways...
Independence Day!
Rock on the water, little one, let her take you to the river!

skinnylittleblonde said...

Lol Paddy... if only insomnia & greatness went hand in hand here. The canoe has been great fun & I much needed a 'project.'

singleton~ hmmmm.... Independence or even Miss Independence, not bad & quite appropriate! I figure she's gotta be named before I can seal her up. ILYSVM & miss you much...

Soooo beautiful, Skinny! And I like your new blog look too! I hope you're doing well and hanging in there. Sorry I don't have a lot of time to come visit you these days. (I'm borrowing my brother's computer right now.)
Don't worry, we'll all make it through our little trials. If good times don't always last, then by definition, bad times don't either. :) Much love and peace, my dear friend.

That's what I'd call her. LOL

skinnylittleblonde said...

(((Fuzzy))) So glad you are back! I know your time away was great!

Mel... 'Too Pretty to Sink'... I Love It! Must keep! Perhaps, she'll be like me & have two names!

Anonymous said...

"Thank you anonymous....this is Italian, correct?"

Actually it is spanish...and no I am not spanish. Have you ever known someone is more than likely the "right one" and know it can never be?

piktor said...

Skinny, "Flyin' Wily" is definitely 21st century. People will be scratching their heads and either think you misspelled something or will be intrigued by the name.

No, I wasn't hungry. I was just thinking of your flying carpet and broken pickle jar story. That story I will never forget.

skinnylittleblonde said...

Anonymous~Not that it matters, but Spanish blood runs through these veins...I am, like most of my dogs, a mutt! I have never 'known' that someone was the 'right one.' I've thought it & felt it, wondered it & daydreamed of it... but, I have never truly known.

Piktor~ Honestly, I thought you were being phallic so I am glad to hear that you were just being thoughtful;) As this canoe was mended, patched & painted over the 4th of July holiday, I think she has successfully been dubbed 'The Bella Dama Liberta~ Too Pretty to Sink.' Thank you for your thoughtful & creative suggestions!

Italianissimo! The name of your boat reminds me of Anna Netrebko singing the role of Violetta in Verdi's "La Traviata". I heard her sing on the radio and was awe-struck by her skill. The song that seemed the most beautiful is "Sempre Libera" (always free).

I actually bought the CD. I love it. Netrebko is also a looker, opera's Marilyn with dark hair.
